We are looking for a Textile Production Manager to join our team The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹35,000 - ₹50,000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Floor Operations
-Plan and execute the daily / weekly production schedule across cutting, stitching, finishing and packing lines.
-Drive line balancing and worker allocation so every order ships on time and at target efficiency.
-Track hourly / shift output against plan; identify bottlenecks and resolve them on the floor. bullet Coordinate with the design and sampling team for smooth rollout of new patterns and styles.
Quality Control & Inspection
-Set up and enforce in-line and end-line Q checkpoints; maintain export-grade standards (AQL 2.5 or buyer-specified).
-Own the rejection/ rework process - root-cause repeat defects and put corrective actions in place. bullet Prepare the factory and documentation for buyer audits and third-party inspections.
Export Shipment & Dispatch
-Plan dispatch schedules in line with buyer ship windows; ensure on-time container loading. bullet Coordinate with merchandising, CHA and freight forwarders on packing lists, invoices, BL and other export documentation.
-Supervise final packing, carton marking and stuffing as per buyer specs.
Worker Management & Productivity
-Manage a workforce of 50+ across cutting, stitching, finishing and packing - including supervisors and contractors.
-Drive attendance, discipline and on-floor productivity; run incentive and piece-rate schemes where useful.
-Hire, train and retain skilled operators; build a stable second line of supervisors. bullet Maintain a safe, clean and compliant work environment (factory act, fire safety, PF / ESI).
Inventory & Raw Material Planning
- Plan and monitor consumption of yarn, fabric, trims and packaging against BOM for every order. bullet Maintain accurate stock of raw materials, WIP and finished goods; minimise wastage and shrinkage.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role. Need experience in TEXTILES
