Receive production plan from PPC department.
Review machine capacity, manpower, molds, and raw material availability.
Prepare daily / weekly production schedule for injection molding machines.
Allocate machines, molds, and operators according to production priority.
Ensure availability of plastic raw materials (PP, HDPE, ABS, Nylon, etc.).
Verify masterbatch, regrind material, and additives availability.
Coordinate with tool room for mold readiness and maintenance.
Check mold change schedule and mold condition before production.
Supervise machine setting and mold installation.
Ensure correct process parameters such as:
Temperature
Pressure
Injection speed
Cooling time
Cycle time
Approve first-off sample before mass production.
Monitor daily production activities on all molding machines.
Ensure machines run with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.
Maintain production targets as per plan.
Control cycle time and productivity.
Ensure production meets customer specifications and quality standards.
Monitor defects such as:
Short shot
Flash
Sink marks
Warpage
Burn marks
Coordinate with Quality department for inspections and corrective actions.
Monitor production scrap and rejection levels.
Implement actions to reduce wastage and improve yield.
Control regrind usage as per quality standards.
Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement.
Improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Optimize cycle time and energy consumption.
