Position Overview
Queens Bay International is seeking a proactive and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, optimize production processes, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities while maintaining efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day production activities to meet production targets.
Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while maintaining product quality standards.
Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.
Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams for seamless operations.
Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and workplace safety guidelines.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain production records, reports, and operational documentation.
Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Train, guide, and motivate production staff to achieve operational excellence.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices.
Ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining cost and quality objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in paper products, printing, packaging, FMCG, or a similar manufacturing industry.
Experience in managing production teams and achieving production targets.
Knowledge of production planning, quality control, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices is preferred.
