Position Overview

Queens Bay International is seeking a proactive and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, optimize production processes, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising production activities while maintaining efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day production activities to meet production targets.

• Ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while maintaining product quality standards.

• Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.

• Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to maximize productivity.

• Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Dispatch teams for seamless operations.

• Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and workplace safety guidelines.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain production records, reports, and operational documentation.

• Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Train, guide, and motivate production staff to achieve operational excellence.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices.

• Ensure timely completion of customer orders while maintaining cost and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in paper products, printing, packaging, FMCG, or a similar manufacturing industry.

• Experience in managing production teams and achieving production targets.

• Knowledge of production planning, quality control, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices is preferred.
