Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervise daily production operations to ensure targets are met as per the production plan.

2. Allocate manpower efficiently and monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline.

3. Ensure adherence to quality standards and reduce rejection and rework.

4. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Planning departments for smooth operations.

5. Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns to the maintenance team.

6. Maintain production records, reports, and shift logs accurately.

7. Ensure compliance with safety rules, housekeeping (5S), and company policies.

8. Train workers on standard operating procedures and safe work practices.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and people management skills

• Good knowledge of production processes and workflow

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle pressure

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, production reports)

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / Degree in Mechanical, Production, or relevant field

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably as a supervisor)
