 Functional Area – Production Manager

·        Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production to meet demand and delivery timelines.

·        Oversee shop-floor operations, machining, assembly, and finishing processes.

·        Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements.

·        Optimize workflows, reduce wastage, and improve productivity through continuous improvement.

·        Allocate labor, machines, and materials effectively to maximize output.

·        Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure availability of raw materials and components.

·        Ensure proper maintenance of machines to minimize downtime.

·        Implement workplace safety practices and adhere to statutory and industry regulations.

  Key Responsibilities – Production Manager

·        Forecast production capacity and balance workloads across machines and shifts.

·        Support introduction of new hardware products, tooling, and process changes.

·        Control production costs by minimizing scrap, rework, and material losses.

·        Manage job work, subcontractors, and external manufacturing partners.

·        Prepare production reports, SOPs, work instructions, and compliance records.

·        Train operators and supervisors on processes, machines, and best practices.

·        Drive Kaizen, 5S, and productivity improvement programs on the shop floor.

·        Support internal/external audits and address customer quality or delivery concerns.
