Position:
Production Manager

Qualification

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory)

Experience

• Minimum 10 to 12 years of relevant experience

• Mandatory experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in:

  • Electrical cables

  • Electrical wires

  • Electrical / industrial manufacturing units

Age Criteria

• Age should not be more than 45 years

Key Responsibilities

• Overall ownership and management of Production operations

• Complete ownership and responsibility of the Maintenance Department

• Planning and execution of daily, monthly, and annual production targets

• Monitoring production schedules, manpower deployment, and machine utilization

• Ensuring product quality, safety, and production efficiency

• Minimizing downtime and improving productivity through process optimization

• Planning and monitoring preventive and breakdown maintenance activities

• Coordination with Electrical, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Management teams

• Implementation and monitoring of SOPs on the shop floor

• Handling day-to-day production issues and ensuring smooth plant operations

• Maintaining production & maintenance reports, MIS, and documentation

• Ensuring compliance with safety norms and statutory requirements

Shift Duty

• General Shift only

• However, the candidate must be flexible to work in shifts if required, as per plant requirements

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes

• Good leadership and manpower-handling skills

• Ability to manage production lines and maintenance activities

• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities

  • Nearby surrounding areas
