Manufacturing Production Manager

The Production Associate will be responsible for supporting electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and assembly operations at the Oben Electric production facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly of EV components and sub-assemblies as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Work on the production/assembly line and complete assigned operations within the specified cycle time.

• Use handheld pneumatic tools, torque wrenches and other production tools safely and correctly.

• Perform basic operations related to mechanical/electrical/electronic component assembly, depending on the assigned workstation.

• Follow work instructions, visual standards and SOPs provided by the production team.

• Carry out basic visual inspection of components and assembled parts to identify defects, damages or abnormalities.

• Immediately report quality issues or defective components to the Line Supervisor / Production Supervisor.

• Achieve the required daily and hourly production targets while maintaining product quality.

• Maintain proper 5S and housekeeping at the assigned workstation.

• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements and workplace procedures.

• Handle production tools and equipment responsibly and ensure proper usage.

• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow.

• Support the team in maintaining quality, productivity and production timelines.

👷 Nature of Work

This is a shop-floor manufacturing job involving standing work, production-line activities, component assembly, tool handling, quality checking and following standard work instructions. Candidates should be comfortable working in rotational shifts and in a manufacturing environment.
