1. Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer with strong experience in fabrication processes. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and improving production operations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.

2. Roles & Responsibilities

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan daily production activities based on schedules and deadlines.

• Ensure smooth workflow throughout the fabrication department.

• Coordinate with design, quality, and maintenance teams.

Fabrication Operations

• Monitor fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly.

• Ensure proper utilisation of machines, manpower, and materials.

• Troubleshoot fabrication issues and implement corrective actions.

Quality & Safety

• Maintain production quality as per company standards.

• Conduct inspections on fabricated components and assemblies.

• Ensure safety compliance and maintain 5S on the shop floor.

Process Improvement

• Identify productivity improvement opportunities.

• Reduce production downtime and wastage.

• Implement lean manufacturing practices.

Documentation & Reporting

3. Required Skills

• Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.

• Good understanding of production planning and workflow management.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/SolidWorks is an advantage.

4. Qualifications

• BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

• 2–4 years of experience in production (fabrication industry preferred).
