Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Summary: The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. This role involves coordinating staff, monitoring processes, and implementing improvements to optimize workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production team members to achieve production targets.

• Monitor manufacturing processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Train,  and develop employees to enhance productivity and job performance.

• Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and workforce performance.

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.

• Schedule and assign tasks to employees based on workload and production priorities.

• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning by coordinating maintenance schedules.

• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is a plus.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and production tracking tools.

• Bilingual proficiency (if applicable to the work environment).

Work Environment:

• This position may require standing for long periods and working in a factory or warehouse setting.

• Exposure to loud noise, machinery, and varying temperatures may be expected.

• Shift work, including weekends or evenings, may be required depending on production needs.
