The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor, ensuring timely execution of projects, efficient labor management, and optimal resource utilization. You will play a key role in aligning production with project timelines, coordinating with design and procurement teams, and maintaining quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling:
Create and implement weekly and monthly production plans based on project timelines.
Allocate tasks and manage workflow to meet delivery deadlines.
Labour Management:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of skilled and unskilled workers.
Ensure discipline, motivation, and productivity among workers and contractors.
Track attendance, work hours, and output.
Operations & Execution:
Monitor the entire production process from raw material issuance to final assembly.
Resolve bottlenecks and handle on-ground challenges proactively.
Coordinate with store and procurement teams for material availability.
Quality & Process Control:
Ensure adherence to quality standards across all production stages.
Minimize rework and wastage through continuous process improvements.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Track and report daily production status to leadership.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain production reports, timelines, and labor performance records.
Assist in updating BOMs, job cards, and production logs.
