Production Manager

1. Handling all types of production issues, section by section coordination, and especially focusing on the sewing and finishing section.

2. Dealing with garment mills, vendors, buyer QC, and laundries for product improvement and taking on-site training to related partners to accomplish the wash approval process and standard.

3. Flowing supplier’s final piece-by-piece garment checks and ensures conformity with the buyer quality requirements and checks the level of garments being prepared for QCC 1 checks.

4. Conduct Pre-production meetings with merchandising team, Buyer representative, and QA department to take over the job as per the style.

5. Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance & Finlay making sure that product and procedures are on time and of good quality.

6. Fabric spreading is a process in the cutting department, done just before of cutting process as cutting is impossible with spreading. Fabric is to be separated according to dye lot before the spreading process, we need to know fabric quantity and height before the spreading process.

7. In the sewing section, the quality inspector checks the critical point and critical measurement according to the buyer’s approval sample. If the quality is not OK, then take corrective action.

8. Controlling the audit assessment process of the washing units.

9. A production manager (PM) is one of the key people and is very much responsible in the textile and apparel industry. Responsible for all activities from cutting to shipment & coordinate with all other departments like Cutting, CAD, Sewing, washing, Finishing, Packing, Maintenance, Merchandising, and Store team for the smooth operation of production. PM has the main role find out the best possible productivity from the factory

10. he finishing department receives body pieces from the end line quality table of sewing or from the washing, iron the body, attach the hangtag, and fold the body. If this body temporary cartooning and send the metal detection center and detect metal with hand needle machine if found it then solve and not found then metal dispose to the red box. After metal detection checks the barcode and folds the body. Cartooning the body according to the buyer’s requirements and then a final inspection and send to the MCD department. Finishing is the department where complete garments are assembled with necessary stickers and attachments, and all trims and accessories add here. The finishing department has the responsibility to close the Purchase order(PO) of the buyer by packing all orders as per the planning schedule, actually, they do the rest other tasks after the sewing or washing process.

11. The sewing department works on first receiving planning sheets from the planning department, receiving cutting Pcs fabrics from the cutting department, and setting up the layout according to the instructions of the Industrial Engineering department. The sewing department converts fabric into cloth or garments through different sewing machines and different sewing processes. So, the sewing department is the king department in the apparel industry. The main department in the garments industry is sewing.
