Production Manager

Supervise daily production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.

Monitor manpower utilization and allocate work efficiently to operators and workers.

Ensure production is carried out according to approved quality standards and specifications.

Maintain production schedules and coordinate with planning, quality, maintenance, and stores departments.

Monitor machine performance and report any breakdowns or maintenance requirements.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Minimize production downtime, material wastage, and rework.

Maintain production records, shift reports, and performance data.

Train and guide production staff on work methods, safety practices, and quality requirements.

Conduct shift handovers and communicate production issues to management.

Monitor inventory of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods on the shop floor.

Investigate production problems and implement corrective actions to improve productivity.

Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S implementation in the production area.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost control.

Coordinate with the Quality Department to resolve quality-related issues and customer complaints.
