Production Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee and manage all production activities in our furniture manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining product quality, managing resources, and meeting production targets while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling:
  Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels. Ensure timely delivery of finished goods.

• Team Management:
  Lead, train, and manage the production team, including supervisors, machine operators, and floor workers. Promote a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Quality Assurance:
  Monitor production output to ensure products meet quality standards. Work closely with the QA/QC department to implement corrective actions when needed.

• Process Improvement:
  Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for increased efficiency, reduced waste, and cost control. Implement lean manufacturing and 5S practices.

• Inventory & Material Management:
  Coordinate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure availability of raw materials, components, and tools.

• Machine & Equipment Maintenance:
  Oversee preventive maintenance and minimize downtime of machines and tools used in the production of wooden and upholstered furniture.

• Health, Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with all local labor and environmental regulations.

• Reporting & Documentation:
  Maintain production records, prepare performance reports, and present updates to senior management
