Manufacturing Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee and manage the complete production process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning production schedules, ensuring timely order completion, maintaining quality standards, managing production staff, and improving operational efficiency while minimizing costs and wastage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.

• Ensure production targets are achieved within the given timelines.

• Monitor production quality and ensure products meet company standards.

• Manage production staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.

• Coordinate with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials.

• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.

• Maintain production records, reports, and inventory usage.

• Ensure proper maintenance and smooth functioning of machinery and equipment.

• Implement workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Work closely with the sales and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.

• Resolve production-related issues and ensure minimal downtime.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Production, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• 5–7 years of experience in production or manufacturing management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good understanding of production planning, inventory control, and quality management.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and production reporting.

• Knowledge of workplace safety and manufacturing best practices.
