Manufacturing Production Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor with 6 Months – 1 Years of experience in the Herbal Manufacturing Industry. The candidate should possess sound knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Preparing and Maintaining production documentation Like: SOP, BMR, Stock etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and Maintaining of GMP Documents Like SOPs, BMR, Cleaning Records, Stocks and company quality standards.

• Verify and maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and other production documents.

• Ensure proper line clearance before starting and after completing production activities.

• Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Maintenance departments for smooth production operations.

• Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of production equipment.

• Report deviations, incidents, and non-conformities to the Production Manager.

• Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S and GMP guidelines.

• Conduct on-the-job training for production operators on SOPs and GMP requirements.

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

• Assist in validation, qualification, and process improvement activities whenever required.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Experience in Preparing & maintaining production documentation (BMR, BPR, Log Books, Equipment Usage Logs, Equipment SOP’s).

• Knowledge of Herbal manufacturing processes.

• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as WHO-GMP, Schedule M, and cGMP.

• Basic understanding of production equipment and manufacturing operations.

• Strong communication and team management skills.

• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to work in shifts if required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CAPA, Change Control, and Deviation handling.

• Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems will be an added advantage.

• Advanced computer skills (MS Office) for preparing all production Documents.
