Production Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Production Manager to oversee contract manufacturing operations for our pharmaceutical and FMCG products. This is a non-factory-based role focused on managing external manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have experience in third-party production management, including vendor selection, product development prototyping, packaging coordination, ingredient/component verification, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate suitable third-party manufacturers (CMOs) for pharmaceutical and FMCG products.

• Coordinate product development prototypes with R&D and contract partners, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance.

• Oversee all aspects of contract manufacturing, from initial brief to product delivery.

• Manage the sourcing, evaluation, and specification of ingredients, components, and packaging materials.

• Work closely with vendors to finalize packaging formats, labeling, and boxing designs in line with brand and compliance standards.

• Ensure that all third-party production is conducted in accordance with cGMP, WHO-GMP, US FDA, and other applicable regulatory requirements.

• Maintain documentation for batch approvals, quality certifications, vendor audits, deviations, and CAPAs.

• Collaborate with internal teams (QA, QC, Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to ensure smooth execution of manufacturing projects.

• Conduct periodic audits and quality checks at third-party manufacturing locations.

• Promote and monitor the use of eco-friendly, sustainable materials in packaging and v production.

• Track production timelines, manage vendor performance, and ensure on-time delivery.

Experience & Qualification Required:

• Bachelor's Degree – B.Pharm

• Preferred: Master’s Degree – M.Pharm or related field

• 3 to 6+ Years in production coordination, contract manufacturing, or vendor management within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
