We are looking for a hands-on Production Manager to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our soap and detergent factory. You will be fully responsible for factory floor activities, workforce management, raw material and finished goods stock control, operational reporting, and ensuring smooth daily production targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Operations: Direct and monitor daily production lines for soaps and detergents to ensure smooth output, optimal capacity, and minimal downtime.
Workforce Management: Supervise, schedule, and assign daily tasks to factory labor and operators; enforce attendance, discipline, safety guidelines, and floor productivity.
Stock & Inventory Control: Track and manage daily raw material levels and finished goods movement to prevent material shortages, spillage, or overstocking.
Daily Reporting: Maintain production logs and report daily output figures, material utilization, downtime, and operational issues to management.
Quality & Safety: Ensure product consistency, proper packaging, and strict adherence to workplace safety and hygiene standards on the shop floor.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant production management experience in a soap, detergent, or chemical manufacturing plant.
Floor Leadership: Proven ability to manage, organize, and direct factory labor effectively.
Operational Skills: Strong practical understanding of daily production scheduling, stock tracking, and factory troubleshooting.
