Key Responsibilities
Plan and supervise daily EOT Crane manufacturing activities as per production schedule.
Coordinate fabrication, machining, assembly, welding, painting and electrical activities.
Allocate work to fabricators, welders, fitters, electricians and production workers. Monitor production progress and ensure on-time completion.
Check manufacturing activities as per approved drawings, BOM and specifications. Conduct quality inspection of crane girders, end carriages, hoists, wheels, busbar, c rail, structures and assemblies.
Check dimensions, alignment, welding quality, fitment and finishing.
Inspect incoming/bought-out components where required.
Ensure proper assembly of hoist, gearbox, motor, brake, coupling, wheels and electrical panel.
Conduct/coordinate electrical and mechanical testing before dispatch.
Identify quality defects, rework and deviations and ensure corrective action.
Maintain Inspection Reports, QC Checklists and Test Reports.
Coordinate with Design for drawing clarification and technical issues.
Coordinate with Stores for material availability and shortages.
Ensure production follows safety, 5S and housekeeping standards.
Give final production/QC clearance for ready-for-dispatch cranes as per company procedure.
