Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team at Capital Spindles India Private Limited. The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. This position offers an in-hand salary of ₹15000 - ₹25000 and an opportunity to be part of a growing and essential industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations for spindle production

• Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards

• Optimize machining processes for CNC/VMC operations

Team Leadership:

• Train and supervise production staff (machine operators, assemblers)

• Schedule shifts and allocate manpower effectively

• Maintain discipline and safety compliance on the shop floor

Quality Control:

• Implement and monitor quality checks at each production stage

• Address machining defects and implement corrective actions

• Work with QA team to maintain product specifications

Process Improvement:

• Identify bottlenecks and suggest productivity improvements

• Reduce material waste and optimize tool usage

• Maintain 5S and lean manufacturing practices

Reporting:

• Prepare daily production reports

• Monitor machine utilization and downtime

• Qualifications & Skills

Essential:

• Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering

• 5+ years experience in machine shop supervision (CNC/VMC preferred)

• Strong knowledge of spindle manufacturing/machining processes

• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T

Preferred:

• Experience in precision machining industry
