The Production Incharge is responsible for overseeing daily production activities in the beverage manufacturing unit to ensure smooth operations, quality compliance, and on-time delivery. This role involves supervising production staff, maintaining production schedules, optimizing resources, ensuring hygiene and safety protocols, and coordinating with quality control, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
Production Supervision:
Plan, organize, and control the production process to meet daily and monthly targets.
Monitor and manage production lines for efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure proper utilization of raw materials, labor, and equipment.
Team Management:
Supervise and coordinate the work of production staff and operators.
Train, motivate, and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
Prepare shift schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure production processes comply with industry standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and FSSAI regulations.
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance team to resolve quality issues.
Ensure hygienic conditions in the production area and enforce clean-in-place (CIP) protocols.
Equipment & Maintenance:
Liaise with maintenance teams for timely preventive and corrective maintenance of machines.
Monitor equipment performance and suggest improvements or upgrades.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain daily production logs, shift reports, and material consumption records.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
Report deviations or delays to management with action plans.
Safety & Environment:
Enforce adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.
Support audits and inspections related to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety).
Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 3–7 years in beverage or FMCG production (carbonated/juice/packaged water preferred).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of beverage processing equipment (mixers, fillers, pasteurizers, etc.).
Familiarity with ISO, HACCP, and FSSAI standards.
Basic troubleshooting and understanding of mechanical systems.
