Key Responsibilities:
Production planning and scheduling: Develop and implement production plans and schedules to ensure resources are used efficiently and deadlines are met.Team leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage production staff, which can include carpenters, upholsterers, and machine operators.Quality control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all furniture meets quality standards.Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve production processes, reduce waste, and lower costs.Resource management: Manage inventory, materials, and equipment to ensure optimal utilization.Cost control: Monitor production costs and ensure products are manufactured within budget.Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any production issues that arise to keep the workflow on track.Collaboration: Work with other departments like design, sales, engineering, and purchasing to ensure alignment and smooth operations. The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 3 - 6+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related field. Attention to detail, physical stamina and ability to follow instructions are very important for this role.
