Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage daily production activities to meet production targets.
Monitor production processes and optimize machine utilization.
Ensure compliance with production schedules and delivery timelines.
Supervise shop floor operations and production staff.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
Implement and monitor 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and statutory requirements.
Analyze production data, downtime, rejection, and efficiency reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS reports.
Train and develop production supervisors and operators.
Control production costs and improve overall plant productivity.
