Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage daily production activities to meet production targets.

  • Monitor production processes and optimize machine utilization.

  • Ensure compliance with production schedules and delivery timelines.

  • Supervise shop floor operations and production staff.

  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.

  • Monitor raw material consumption and minimize wastage.

  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.

  • Implement and monitor 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE usage, and statutory requirements.

  • Analyze production data, downtime, rejection, and efficiency reports.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production MIS reports.

  • Train and develop production supervisors and operators.

  • Control production costs and improve overall plant productivity.
