Manufacturing Production Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Supervisor responsible for supervising the day-to-day manufacturing and assembly of ACDB, DCDB and other solar electrical boxes. The candidate will manage production activities, manpower, quality, material usage and timely completion of orders as per required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production of ACDB, DCDB and solar electrical boxes.

• Manage and allocate work to production workers and technicians.

• Ensure production is completed as per drawings, BOM, specifications and quality standards.

• Supervise enclosure assembly, component mounting, wiring, termination, labelling and finishing.

• Ensure correct installation of components such as MCBs, MCCBs, SPDs, fuses, isolators, terminals, busbars and other electrical components.

• Check wiring, connections, tightening, ferruling, labelling and overall workmanship.

• Coordinate with the purchase/store team for availability of required materials and components.

• Maintain daily production records and report production status to management.

• Ensure proper testing of completed boxes before dispatch.

• Minimise material wastage, rework and production delays.

• Coordinate with the design, purchase, stores and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.

• Train and guide workers on assembly and wiring procedures.

• Ensure production targets and delivery timelines are achieved.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of ACDB/DCDB assembly and electrical panel wiring.

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and BOMs.

• Knowledge of electrical components used in solar systems.

• Good manpower handling and team supervision skills.

• Ability to identify wiring and assembly errors.

  Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
Candidates with relevant hands-on experience in electrical panel or solar equipment manufacturing may also be considered.

Preferred Experience

Experience in manufacturing of solar ACDB, DCDB, SMDB, electrical panels or related electrical enclosures will be an advantage.
