Production Engineer - Tool Room ( Precision Engineering )

We are looking for a Production Supervisor who can supervise and coordinate day - to - day operations of the tool room , ensuring efficient production of high - precision components ( punches , dies and related tooling ) through optimal utilization of machines , manpower , and production schedules while maintaining stringent quality standards required for pharmaceutical applications .

Key Responsibilities :

1.) Production Planning and Execution :

• Plan and monitor daily production schedules in line with delivery commitments

• Ensure optimum utilization of VMC , CNC , and Grinding Machines

• Coordinate machining sequences and monitor work in progress and ensure timely movement between processes

• Ensure adherence to production targets and lead time commitments

2.) Tool Room Operations Supervision :

• Supervise machining operations including VMC , CNC turning , surface grinding , cylindrical grinding etc

• Ensure correct machine parameters , tooling selection , and process discipline

• Monitor preventive maintenance of machines to avoid breakdowns

3.) Quality Control and Inspection :

• Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings and specifications

• Hands - on use of inspection instruments such as :

• Micrometer

• Vernier Caliper

• Dial Gauge

• Height Gauge

• Bore Gauge

• Verify surface finish and tolerance compliance

• Coordinate with QA team for final inspection and documentation

4.) Production Coordination and Reporting :

• Maintain daily production reports and job status updates

5.) Continuous Improvement :

• Identify opportunities to improve machining efficiency and reduce rework

• Implement SOP - driven production practices

Required Technical Skills :

• Hands on experience in Grinding Machines , VMC , CNC machines

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances

• Working knowledge of precision inspection instruments

Education Qualification :

• Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering

• Additional certification in CNC programming or machining preferred

Experience :

• 5-9 years of experience in tool room or precision machining environment

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
