The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services to ensure the company’s operational needs are met with cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. This role involves maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating vendors, and managing procurement records.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
Process purchase orders and ensure timely approval as per company policy.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse or store team for replenishment.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or quantity.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure long-term procurement efficiency.
Coordinate with finance and accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain (manufacturing/IT/construction/other relevant sector).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP/Purchase management software.
Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
Ability to handle multiple procurement projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of vendor management and sourcing strategies.
Understanding of logistics, inventory control, and cost management.
Experience in vendor audits and procurement documentation.
