Process Engineer - Rubber and Thermoplastics Manufacturing

We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies. 1 – Develop and industrialize extrusion (TPE/rubber) and compression (rubber) projects: - New rubber and thermoplastic products or materials originating from P2 projects. - New profiles originating from design offices or product integration. - New processes linked to technological advancements at the Product Group (PG) level, where necessary. - Equipment and resources for the extrusion workshop, aimed at improving the quality and productivity of the product/process combination. 2 – Maintenance of production capacities / PMT requirements: - Documents machine capacities against requirements defined by the PMT (capacity needs and new technologies). - Periodically reviews and updates data to prepare budgets. 3 - Productivity: - Collaborates with production, maintenance, SPV, and P0 teams to implement cost-reduction initiatives: scrap reduction, material productivity, cycle time reduction, and SMED. - Provides technical support to the rubber and thermoplastics production workshop. - Drives continuous improvement of rubber and thermoplastic processes. - Improves machine OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness). - Acts as a constant source of improvement through Action Plans. 4 - Valeo Standards: - Sustains technical expertise. - Defines activity-related standards and improves methodologies. - Operates in compliance with rules defined by V5000, OHSAS, and ISO 50001. - Manages projects in accordance with established procedures (Industrial Projects or Modifications). - Knows and enforces safety and environmental rules and constraints within their scope of responsibility, and strictly applies them in their work. - Provides technical support to the rubber and thermoplastics production workshop. - Trains operators and technicians on newly implemented technologies and newly industrialized products. - Within the scope of their duties, complies with and applies Safety, Environmental, and Energy rules, as well as all associated standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, etc.).
