Job Responsibilities
Carry out regular preventive maintenance of mechanical press machines.
Attend machine breakdowns and identify and rectify mechanical faults.
Maintain and repair press machine components such as clutches, brakes, gears, bearings, crankshafts, and guideways.
Ensure proper lubrication and timely replacement of worn-out machine parts.
Identify recurring machine problems and take corrective action to reduce breakdowns.
Ensure all press machines are in good working condition and available for production.
Maintain preventive maintenance and breakdown records.
Follow machine safety procedures and ensure proper functioning of safety guards and devices.
Coordinate with the production team to resolve machine-related issues.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of experience in press machine maintenance in a manufacturing industry.
Hands-on experience with mechanical presses.
Good knowledge of mechanical systems.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to identify machine faults and carry out repairs independently.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
Key Requirement
The candidate should have practical experience in press machine maintenance, be capable of handling machine breakdowns independently, and ensure minimum machine downtime for smooth production operations.
