Key Responsibilities-
• Prepare sheet metal parts for powder coating, including cleaning, degreasing, and masking. • Operate powder coating guns, booths, and curing ovens. • Apply powder coatings according to customer specifications and quality standards. • Monitor coating thickness, colour consistency, and surface finish. • Load and unload components from conveyor systems or racks. • Inspect coated parts for defects such as orange peel, pinholes, scratches, and uneven coating. • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of powder coating equipment. • Maintain production records and quality inspection reports. • Follow workplace safety procedures and use PPE at all times. • Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams to meet delivery schedules.
Qualifications-
• ITI / Diploma / High School with relevant experience. • 1–5 years of experience in powder coating, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
