FMCG Food Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities
Oversee complete plant operations, including wheat procurement coordination,
milling, packing, and dispatch.
Plan and monitor daily production schedules to achieve quantity and quality
targets.
Ensure product quality, hygiene, and food safety standards are strictly maintained.
Manage manpower, including operators, helpers, and supervisors; handle duty
rosters and attendance.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure minimum breakdowns and timely
preventive maintenance.
Monitor raw material consumption, yield, wastage, and stock levels.
Ensure compliance with statutory norms, safety guidelines, and factory regulations.
Prepare and submit production, efficiency, and performance reports to
management.
Coordinate with purchase, stores, and logistics for uninterrupted operations.
Handle basic administrative and operational issues at the factory level.
Desired Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of flour mill operations (wheat cleaning, milling, grinding,
packing).
Experience in managing medium-scale manufacturing units.
Good leadership and team-handling skills.
Ability to plan, analyse, and solve operational problems.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting).
