Plant Head - Manufacturing Operations Leader

PLANT HEAD Function Operations Pay Band M6 & above Role As the Plant Head you will be part of the Plant Operations and will report to the Head of Plant Operations. The purpose of your role will be to develop & execute the Strategic Policies & decision to achieve various Business Goals. Lead the development of the operating plan and ensure operational excellence at Hero MotoCorp’s Dharuhera plant to ensure that the production targets & various business goals are achieved and the plant performance is aligned to the overall objectives of Hero MotoCorp. A purpose driven role for you Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 1.Enabling Revenue growth by Expanding flexible capacity & Vertical Start-up to increase the Asset turnover to meet the requirement of existing /New models and spare parts. 2. Improving Profitability by providing customer perceived Value thru leveraging LEAP & KK initiatives for increase Agility & reduce total product cost (Cost Loss & Loss Cost). 3.Strengthening brands by improvement in quality - warranty claim reduction, improving fits, finishes, feel , durability & sustaining existing performance/Industry benchmarks & 100% service ratio 4.Managing Critical to capacity cells using HERO PRODUCTION SYSTEM to sustain & improve demand fulfilment across models & Variants. 5.Strengthening employee engagement thru people development by promoting team work culture, competency development & Skill enhancement creating subject matter experts. 6.Effectively build & operationalize robust innovation promotion framework to leverage the idea generation aiming to achieve desired activity level & impact. 7. Implement pilot projects by doing things better, faster, and cheaper giving competitive edge to the business & creating smart cells. 8.Zero Plastic, 3R strategy Implementation and Green Packaging, ISO 50001 for energy management. Academic Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field Preferably with MBA. 20-25 years of Engineering & manufacturing experience including 10-12 years in an automotive firm Technical Skills/Knowledge -Knowledge of TPM, lean manufacturing principles and quality management systems. -Proven experience in manufacturing. 1.
