Molding Machine Operator

Operate Injection Molding Machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.

Set and operate machines according to approved process parameters and work instructions.

Load and unload molds, raw materials, inserts, and components as required.

Monitor temperature, pressure, cycle time, injection speed, and other process parameters during production.

Ensure production of parts as per approved drawing, sample, specifications, and quality standards.

Conduct first-piece and in-process inspection using required measuring instruments and gauges.

Identify and segregate rejected, defective, or non-conforming parts and immediately inform the supervisor/quality team.

Maintain proper 5S, cleanliness, and housekeeping around the molding machine and work area.

Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe machine operation.

Monitor machine and mold condition and immediately report abnormal noise, leakage, breakdown, or mold damage.

Maintain proper records of production quantity, rejection, downtime, and process parameters.

Ensure correct identification and handling of OK, Rejection, Rework, and WIP material.

Perform basic machine cleaning and routine operator-level maintenance as instructed.

Support mold change, trial, setting, and production start-up activities.

Achieve assigned production targets, quality standards, and cycle-time requirements.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams whenever required.

Follow company policies, discipline, attendance requirements, and instructions from the reporting supervisor.

Minimize material wastage, rejection, and machine downtime through proper operation and monitoring.
