Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

perform machine setup, prove-out, and process validation
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Select suitable tools, fixtures, cutting parameters, and machining strategies
Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components
Optimize cycle time and improve production efficiency
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues
Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams for smooth operations
Conduct machine trials and process improvements
Maintain program backups, tooling records, and production documentation
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma / BE Mechanical Engineering or related field
3–10 years of experience in milling machine operating
Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Haas, or Mazak controls
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, Powermill, UG NX, or SolidCAM, SOLID WORKS, AUTOCAD
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, feeds & speeds
Ability to use measuring instruments like Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
Good knowledge of precision machining and process optimization
