Job Summary:
We are looking for skilled MIG Welders with 2–4 years of experience in fabrication/manufacturing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in MIG welding of mild steel and electrical panel/enclosure components, with the ability to produce clean and accurate welds as per drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG welding on mild steel and fabricated components.
Weld electrical panel enclosures, frames, doors, brackets, and other sheet-metal/fabricated parts.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings and measurements.
Set welding machine parameters such as current, voltage, wire speed, and gas flow.
Perform different types of welds as required, including fillet and butt welding.
Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and welding quality.
Inspect welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and excessive spatter.
Carry out grinding, cleaning, and finishing of welded components where required.
Maintain welding equipment, torch, cables, and consumables.
Follow production targets and quality standards.
Follow all required safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Required Skills:
2–4 years of hands-on MIG welding experience.
Experience in sheet-metal/fabrication work preferred.
Experience with electrical panel/enclosure fabrication is an advantage.
Ability to read basic drawings and use measuring instruments.
Knowledge of welding machine operation and parameter setting.
Good understanding of welding quality and safety practices.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Preferred Candidate:
Candidates from electrical panel manufacturing, sheet-metal fabrication, industrial fabrication, switchgear, or engineering manufacturing industries will be preferred.
