Mechanical Engineer 1 In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Work within an engineering team to create and maintain ERP data in support of plant order execution Prepare order engineering deliverables such as technical order reviews, Bills of Materials (BoMs), and General Arrangement Drawings (GADs) (60%) Provide CAD support for Engineer-to-Order (ETO), New Product Development (NPD), and sustenance engineering projects (30%) Support product engineering activities to aid manufacturing processes and ensure smooth production workflows (10%) Who You Are: You consistently create and optimize processes to ensure work is completed efficiently, simplifying complex tasks into structured workflows. You maintain a strong focus on continuous improvement and actively identify opportunities to enhance collaboration, integration, and outcomes. You build solutions that meet customer expectations while working effectively with cross-functional and global teams to achieve shared objectives. For This Role, You Will Need: Experience in order execution and product sustainment engineering Proficiency in engineering CAD and PLM tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Autodesk Vault, or SolidWorks PDM Pro Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or BaaN Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in the mechanical industry Familiarity with engineering and industrial design standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, or EN Strong attention to detail with a focus on accurate and thorough documentation Ability to communicate effectively with local, global, and cross-functional teams Fluency in English (written and verbal) Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Certification in CAD tools Our Culture & Commitment to You At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
