Mechanical engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Engineering:

  • Create and revise 2D/3D developments using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).

  • Develop mechanical layouts, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.

• Fabrication & Manufacturing Support:

  • Provide engineering support to the shop floor during fabrication and assembly.

  • Review and approve welding procedures, fabrication methods, and machining processes.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges during manufacturing.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes (ASME, ASTM, etc.)

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

• 4–7 years of experience in industrial equipment manufacturing.

• Hands-on experience with stainless steel and exotic alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy, Titanium).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, and MS Office.

• Strong understanding of welding and fabrication standards.

• Familiarity with ASME codes and mechanical standards.

• Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication drawings.

• Strong communication skills.
