Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D CAD models and assemblies in Autodesk Fusion 360 for robotic components and systems.
Develop technical drawings, BOMs, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly.
Perform motion studies, tolerance analysis, and design validation in Fusion 360.
Collaborate with electrical, electronics, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
Conduct material selection and design optimization for strength, weight, and cost efficiency.
Support prototype development, assembly, and testing of robotic systems.
Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles.
Troubleshoot design issues and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 (3D modeling, assemblies, drawings, simulations).
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up.
Minimum 1 year experience with robotics, automation, or precision mechanisms preferred.
Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and prototyping techniques (CNC, 3D printing, sheet metal, etc.).
Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced R&D environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
