Job Summary:

The Scrap/Material Handling Executive is responsible for managing the receipt, segregation, storage, and disposal of scrap or unused materials. The role ensures proper inventory management, compliance with safety standards, and supports the operations team in maintaining a clean, organized, and cost-effective work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, segregate, and store scrap or rejected material as per company guidelines.

• Maintain proper records of scrap material (type, weight, and disposal details).

• Assist in material handling, loading, and unloading activities.

• Coordinate with vendors/authorized scrap buyers for timely disposal.

• Ensure material movement is tracked and updated in registers/ERP system.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in scrap yard and material areas.

• Support store/warehouse team in daily material issuance and receipt.

• Follow proper documentation for material transfer, return, or disposal.

• Monitor and minimize material wastage through proper handling practices.

• Adhere to company policies, health & safety standards, and environmental regulations.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
