Job Description

Operate milling machines to manufacture components according to drawings and job specifications.
Perform machine setup including fixture setting, tool mounting, alignment, and workpiece clamping.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and process sheets.
Select suitable cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for different materials.
Monitor machining operations and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Use measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and dial indicators.
Perform deburring, finishing, and basic inspection of machined parts.
Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
Carry out routine machine maintenance and report breakdowns/issues.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE during operations.
