Manufacturing Site Supervisor

The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities related to the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of elevators, escalators, and related vertical transportation systems. They act as the primary point of contact between the company, subcontractors, and the client at the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Project Execution & Site Supervision

Supervise lift/elevator installation activities at the site as per the project plan and technical specifications.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.

Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure site readiness.

Handle technical issues on-site and escalate critical matters to the project or technical team when needed.

✅ Coordination & Communication

Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal departments.

Conduct daily or weekly site meetings to track progress and resolve on-site issues.

Coordinate with the logistics team for the timely delivery of equipment and materials to the site.

✅ Quality & Safety Compliance

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Conduct toolbox talks and enforce use of PPE among workers.

Monitor the quality of installation and workmanship to ensure adherence to standards.

✅ Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily progress reports and installation checklists.

Prepare and submit site inspection reports, snag lists, and commissioning records.

Document any design changes, site modifications, and material consumption.

✅ Testing & Commissioning

Support or lead the testing and commissioning of lifts/elevators as per manufacturer and project specifications.

Resolve defects and snags before final handover to the client.

Assist in third-party inspections and obtaining certifications from regulatory authorities.
