Job Description

Key Responsibilities

🔹 1. Production Management

Supervise entire crumb rubber production process (shredding, granulating, screening, packing).
Ensure daily production targets are achieved.
Monitor raw material feeding and finished goods output.
Maintain production reports and shift records.
Reduce wastage and improve productivity.

🔹 2. Manpower Supervision

Allocate duties to machine operators and helpers.
Monitor worker attendance and discipline.
Train workers on safe working procedures.
Ensure proper shift handover between supervisors.

🔹 3. Machine & Equipment Monitoring

Ensure smooth running of:
- Tire cutter
- Shredder machine
- Granulator
- Magnetic separator
- Vibrating screen
Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns.
Prevent unnecessary machine downtime.

🔹 4. Quality Control

Ensure crumb rubber size as per customer requirement (e.g., 1-3 mm, 3-5 mm).
Check for metal contamination removal.
Coordinate with QC department for quality checks.
Maintain batch-wise production records.

🔹 5. Safety & Compliance

Ensure workers use PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes).
Follow factory safety norms and pollution control guidelines.
Maintain housekeeping in production area.
Report any accident or near miss immediately.

🔹 6. Inventory & Dispatch Coordination

Monitor stock of raw materials (waste tyres).
Maintain finished goods stock records.
Coordinate with dispatch team for loading.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / ITI / Graduate (Mechanical preferred)
3–7 years experience in crumb rubber / rubber recycling / tyre shredding plant
Knowledge of production planning
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, production reporting)
Strong leadership and team handling skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Daily production target achievement %
Machine downtime reduction
Rejection / wastage control
Safety compliance
Labor productivity

Working Conditions

Rotational shift duty
Factory floor environment
Physical monitoring of plant operations
