Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Printing Operations:

   • Operate and maintain digital printing machines, especially Konika 6000, ensuring high-quality outputs.

   • Prepare files for printing, including color correction and layout adjustments.

   • Monitor print jobs to ensure consistency, accuracy, and timely completion.

2. Lamination:

   • Perform lamination processes using various materials and techniques (hot/cold lamination).

   • Ensure laminated products meet quality and durability standards.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Perform regular cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs on printing, lamination, and cutting equipment.

   • Report major equipment issues to the technical team for resolution.

4. Quality Control:

   • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality expectations and company standards.

   • Identify and rectify defects in printing, lamination, or cutting processes.

5. Collaboration and Coordination:

   • Work closely with designers, production teams, and partners to understand project requirements.

   • Manage production schedules to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:

  • Hands-on experience with digital printing equipment (e.g., Konika 6000 or similar brands).

  • Knowledge of lamination techniques and materials.

  • Familiarity with plotter cutting machines such as Roland, Graphtec, or Cricut. (optional)

• Software Skills:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as CorelDRAW, or similar.

  • Ability to work with various file formats like PDFs, SVGs, and vector graphics.

• Additional Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment and production issues.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
