Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Bending Machine Operator to operate and maintain sheet metal bending machines for production of precision components as per technical drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC/NC/Manual bending machines efficiently.
Set up machine parameters as per job requirements.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
Select appropriate tools, dies, and punches for bending operations.
Ensure dimensional accuracy of finished components.
Perform machine calibration and basic troubleshooting.
Inspect finished products using measuring instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.
Maintain production targets and minimize material wastage.
Follow safety standards and shop floor discipline.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills

Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and bending process.
Hands-on experience on CNC bending / press brake machines.
Drawing reading ability.
Knowledge of measurement instruments.
Understanding of machine safety protocols.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
