Job Responsibilities

  • Operate Horizontal Boring Mill machines as per drawings and job instructions

  • Set up large and heavy workpieces, tools, and fixtures accurately

  • Perform boring, drilling, facing, tapping, and alignment operations

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and tolerances

  • Measure and inspect components using precision instruments

  • Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish

  • Follow safety norms, PPE, and 5S practices

  • Carry out routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance

  • Coordinate with Production Engineer and Quality team

Skills Required

  • Hands-on experience with Horizontal Boring Mill (Manual / CNC)

  • Good knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds

  • Ability to handle large components confidently

  • Strong quality awareness and attention to detail
