Job Description

The Focus Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining Focus printing machines used in label production. The role involves ensuring high-quality printing, meeting production targets, and maintaining machine efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Focus printing machines (e.g., Focus 4+1 or multi-color machines) for label production.
Set up the machine according to job specifications (size, color, material, design).
Ensure accurate color registration and print quality.
Monitor the printing process and make necessary adjustments during production.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine.
Troubleshoot basic mechanical or printing issues.
Maintain production records and report any issues to the supervisor.
Ensure minimum wastage of materials and optimize machine efficiency.
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.

Skills & Requirements:

Experience in operating Focus or similar label printing machines.
Knowledge of printing materials like satin, taffeta, Tyvek, and adhesive labels.
Understanding of color mixing, alignment, and print quality control.
Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and quality-focused approach.
