Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Wire Cut EDM Machine Operator to operate, set up, and maintain wire cut machines for precision machining of components as per drawings and specifications. The candidate should ensure accuracy, quality, and timely completion of jobs.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Wire Cut EDM machines• safely and efficiently

Set up jobs as per engineering drawings, CAD data, and work instructions•

• Load programs, set parameters, and select appropriate wire and consumables

• Monitor machining process and make minor adjustments if required

Measure components using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauges•

Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish•

• Identify and report machine issues, wire breakage, or quality problems

Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning•

• Maintain production records, job cards, and quality documents

Follow safety rules, 5S, and company SOPs•

• Coordinate with supervisors, quality, and design teams when needed

Skills & Requirements:

Technical Skills:

Experience in operating •Wire Cut EDM machines

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings•

Knowledge of materials (tool steel, hardened steel, carbide, etc.)•

Understanding of cutting parameters and offsets•

Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM• (preferred but not mandatory)

### Experience & Qualification

ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die, Machinist, or Mechanical• preferred

• 2–5 years of experience in wire cut operation

• Freshers with good training may also be considered

Quality & Safety:

Maintain high standards of precision and workmanship•

• Ensure zero damage to tools, dies, and components

Strict adherence to •safety and machine operating procedures

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
