Operate CO₂ laser cutting and engraving machines safely and efficiently.
Read and understand CAD/CorelDRAW/Illustrator or similar design files.
Prepare and set up jobs according to drawings, dimensions, and production requirements.
Set appropriate power, speed, frequency/PPI, focus, and other machine parameters according to material and thickness.
Perform cutting, engraving, marking, and perforation jobs as required.
Check material quality, thickness, and dimensions before starting production.
Ensure accurate cutting with minimum material wastage.
Monitor machine operation during production and identify abnormalities.
Inspect finished products for dimensions, cutting quality, engraving quality, and defects.
Perform basic troubleshooting of laser, cooling, air-assist, exhaust, optics, and mechanical components.
Clean and maintain the machine, lens, mirrors, bed, rails, and other components regularly.
Maintain proper records of production, material consumption, wastage, and machine issues.
Follow production schedules and complete jobs within the required timeline.
Coordinate with the design and production teams regarding job requirements and technical issues.
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report machine breakdowns, maintenance requirements, and material issues to the supervisor.
