Job Description – Machine Operator / Technical Operator (Vinyl Manufacturing)

Position: Machine Operator / Technical Operator

Department: Production

Location: Navi Mumbai – Manufacturing Unit (MIDC Pawne)

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience: 0–3 Years (Fresh ITI candidates welcome)

Preferred Trades: Fitter / Electrician / Turner / Mechanical

Salary Budget: ₹1.80 – ₹2.40 Lacs per annum (freshers)

Salary Budget: ₹2.40 – ₹3.60 Lacs per annum (depending on experience)

Role Overview

The Machine Operator will support the production team in operating and maintaining vinyl record pressing machines and related equipment. The role requires technically inclined candidates who are disciplined, eager to learn, and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Machine Operation

Operate vinyl pressing machines and associated equipment as per standard operating procedures.

Assist in machine setup and preparation before production runs.

Ensure machines run smoothly during production.

2. Production Support

Support production team in achieving daily production targets.

Assist senior technicians and operators in machine adjustments.

Ensure materials are properly loaded and handled during production.

3. Quality Awareness

Check products during production for visible defects.

Report any machine or product issues to supervisors immediately.

4. Maintenance Support

Assist technicians in routine machine maintenance.

Help maintain cleanliness and proper condition of machines and work area.

5. Safety & Discipline

Follow factory safety procedures and operational guidelines.

Maintain discipline and proper conduct in the production environment.

Required Skills

Basic technical knowledge of machines and mechanical systems.

Ability to learn machine operations quickly.

Discipline and willingness to work in a factory environment.

Basic understanding of safety procedures.

Qualification

ITI in Mechanical / Fitter / Electrician / Turner or related technical trade preferred.

Diploma holders may also apply.

Additional Preference

Candidates from Navi Mumbai / Thane / Panvel area will be preferred.
