Machine Operator – Job Responsibilities

Operate and monitor assigned machines as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Start, stop, and set up machines for production runs
Ensure correct raw material feeding and product output
Maintain production quality and meet shift targets
Conduct routine machine checks before and during operation
Identify abnormal sounds, vibrations, or performance issues and report immediately
Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor adjustments
Follow safety guidelines, PPE usage, and factory safety norms
Maintain cleanliness of machine and work area (5S)
Record production data, downtime, breakdowns, and shift logs
Coordinate with maintenance, supervisors, and helpers during operations
Prevent material wastage and handle materials carefully
