Job Description

Distillation Vessel Operator (Solvent Recovery) for Pigment Green 7 chemical Manufacturing

Location: Vapi, Gujarat

We are seeking an experienced Distillation Vessel Operator for our Pigment Green 7 manufacturing plant located in Vapi, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in chemical plant operations, particularly in processes related to Pigment Green 7 production.

Key Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor distillation Vessel, ensuring efficient solvent recovery processes.

· Well versed with Solvent Recovery process

· Manage and control boiler operations, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

· Handle filter press operations, including washing and maintenance

· Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues promptly to minimise downtime.

· Maintain detailed records of plant operations, safety checks, and maintenance activities.

Candidate Requirements

· Minimum of 7 years’ hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing plant, specifically in Pigment Green 7 or related pigment/chemical production.

· Distillation and solvent recovery systems

· Filter press operation and washing procedures

· Boiler operation and control

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Commitment to plant safety and adherence to all environmental and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates with less than 4 years of relevant experience will not be considered.
