We are looking for a Asst-Manager to join our team JBM Ogihara Automotive India Ltd, The role involves operating machinery, assembling products and maintaining quality standards on the production floor. AM - Job description for engineering department

·         Robotic Weld line development & installation

• Knowledge of Himpyo writing and getting approval from TKM

• Knowledge of line set up with quality built in process.

• Project Planning and budgeting for complete Press & Robotic weld line and facilities.

• SE activity (Simultaneous Engineering) to decreases product development time and also the improve productivity and reduce cost

• VE/VA (Value Engineering/Value Analysis) activities.

• Monitoring the PESS (Part Evaluation Status Sheet) for all Stamping & Welding parts.

• Planning & controlling the production operations (Weld shop/ Press shop) as per the capacity available.

• Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.

• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.

• Customer Review: Ensure that all expected costs have been properly presented to Customer for Review/Approval/Acceptance of the estimate

• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

• Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc.

• Reviews cost estimates for extra's and negotiates changes with Clients and/or vendor and/or subcontractors if delegated to him by the Project manager

• Assists in the development and implementation of improved cost control and reporting techniques and methods.

• Gather details and compile data to estimate all production costs considering raw materials, labor, equipment, tooling, for estimations.

• Maintain all tooling and product cost information to assure the timely availability of data required for decision-making and to ensure conformity with budget directives.

• Perform Value Add / Value Engineering. Generate cost reduction ideas through identification of process/product efficiencies that will reduce overall costs. Work with all stakeholders to achieve cost reduction targets.

• It is a Full Time Manufacturing job for candidates with 6+ years of experience.
